You are invited to our 2023 Official DCS Christmas Party.

This year we will be in Carrollton/Plano area. Here's what we have planned:

Food - Catered buffet-style dinner. Italian styled baked chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, beverages.

Fellowship - this is the heart of what we do. We're trying to bring people together. We're putting a lot of emphasis this year on ways to make each person feel included. We'll have friendly greeters at the sign-in table and from that moment, they will start to make you feel welcomed. You will be escorted to your table where we'll have assigned seating. You will be introduced to everyone at your table. We'll also have some ice-breakers to make it easy to start communicating with people at your table and all attendees as well.

Dancing - We'll start with Christmas music and then when dining is winding down we'll pump up the music with a mix of country, 70s, 80s and 90s. We're putting together the best dance songs from these genres. We'll have a few line dancing songs to get us going.

Pictures - in the past we've have photographers in the group volunteer to take pics of attendees all dressed up. We're looking for such a volunteer this year. We want to set up a photography area. I even heard a rumor that Santa might crash our party.

Partnerships - we would like to reach out and offer invitations to any small church's singles ministry to come to our event. If you go to a church that is within a reasonable distance of our venue, and that won't be having their own Christmas Party, please leave a comment below and we'll message you for more information.

How to Pay We're trying to simplify things this year. DCS now has the ability to accept online credit/debit card payments. There is not a service charge to pay this way.

This will be the only method of payment. We cannot accept cash at the door. The reason for that is we need to know 1 week in advance how many paid people we have so that we can shop & plan accordingly. So please get your payment in now, while you are thinking about it. It will take 30 seconds and you will be emailed a receipt. We won't be posting on the event page who has paid and who has not paid. It is up to you to get your payment in if you want to attend.

Trying to be sympathetic to everyone having to deal with inflationary prices on just about everything, we've decided to be smarter in our planning so that we can keep prices the same as prior years. So the price is $25. Those who have already paid at the $30 price point will be refunded $5.

No refunds can be granted after 11:59pm on Dec 10. This is for planning & purchasing reasons.
